A Safe Zone Ally is a compassionate and knowledgeable individual who publicly displays their support for the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Our Allies go through extensive training that includes self-assessment of attitudes & beliefs, vocabulary, dispelling myths and stereotypes, the stages of identity development, the authentic gender model, spectrums of sexuality & gender, coming out, microaggressions, and privilege. 

Those who complete the training receive a sticker that shows that they are a safe space to come to for support and referral to resources.

Safe Zone trainings have resumed for organizations.
